Jay Cahill

Jay Cahill is the president and founder of Bluefin Technology Partners, a technology investment and consulting firm. Jay has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including executive positions at startups and large corporations.

Cahill began their career as a software engineer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Jay then co-founded Bluefin Technology Partners, a software development company, in 1998. The company was acquired by Sailstream in 2000.

After the sale of Bluefin, Cahill worked as an executive at Spaaza, a mobile software company, and GeoSolutions BV (GyPSii), a location-based technology company. Jay was responsible for GyPSii's international operations, including strategy, finance, and customer relations.

In 2014, Cahill returned to Bluefin Technology Partners as president and CEO. Under their leadership, the company has made investments in several successful startups, including AppDirect, C2FO, and Humin.

Jay Cahill studied computer science at Stonehill College and Uxbridge High School. Jay holds a BS from Stonehill College.
