Scott Hillegass has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Scott most recently served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Bluefire Insurance, where they led the sales strategy and enablement project, resulting in a significant increase in new agent appointments. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Executive at Windhaven Insurance, where they consistently exceeded sales goals and earned the company-wide MVP title twice. Before that, they were the Owner & CEO at Scott Hillegass State Farm Insurance, where they built and led a successful multi-line insurance sales team. Scott also worked at State Farm for several years, first as a Field Sales Consultant, where they achieved remarkable sales growth and took their territory to the top position, and later as an Internal Sales & Advanced Planning Associate, where they ranked as the #1 sales associate and designed the framework for the Internal Sales program.

Scott Hillegass has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Penn State University, as well as a Minor in Business Law from the same institution. In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Scott is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Furthermore, Scott has certifications as a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from renowned institutions such as The American College of Financial Services and The Institutes. Scott also holds a General Lines License in Property, Casualty, Life & Health from the Texas Department of Insurance and is a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) from The American College of Financial Services.
