Ferdinando Samonà

Ferdinando Samonà is an experienced professional in the offshore engineering and renewable energy sectors, currently serving as the Industrialization Senior Manager for Italy Projects at BlueFloat Energy since March 2024. Previously, Ferdinando held roles at Maersk Supply Service as Regional Engineering Manager and Senior Project Engineer specializing in floating wind, as well as Senior EPCI Package Engineer at Orwell Offshore, focusing on Single Point Mooring Systems. Additional experience includes consultancy work at BPP-TECH in the offshore wind and oil & gas industries, and field engineering at Manuli Rubber Industries. Ferdinando obtained a Bachelor and Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
