Jani Mäkinen

Jani Mäkinen's work experience includes a role as Director of Delivery Project Management at Bluefors since 2022. Previously, they served as the Head of Application Engineering and Testing at ZenRobotics Ltd. from 2020 to 2022, where they focused on improving product quality and customer satisfaction. Before that, Jani spent a year dedicated to family activities. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at KONE Corporation, first as a Senior Project Manager leading global product development projects, then as a Global Category Manager for Elevator Machineries, and finally as the Head of Mechanics Category. Prior to KONE, Jani held various positions at KCL Pilot Plant and KCL, including Technical Customer Service Manager and Group Manager of Coating and Calendering. Overall, they have developed expertise in project management, technology development, and team leadership.

Jani Mäkinen completed their M.Sc.(Eng) degree in Paper & Pulp Science and Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in the years 1994 to 2000. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a QBM qualification in Business Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership and Management from JTO, Management Institute of Finland MIF Oy.
