Mia Laine

Mia Laine has a diverse work experience. Mia currently serves as the Quality Director (QEHSC) at Bluefors, where they are responsible for promoting and developing a proactive quality culture. Prior to this, they worked as the Plant Quality Manager at Eaton Power Quality Oy for seven years, leading the Quality function and ensuring the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Mia also has experience as a Substitute Teacher at Kuoppanummen koulukeskus and as the Head of Management Systems and Occupational Safety Manager at Mondi Lohja Oy. Furthermore, Mia has worked at Nokia in various roles, including Project Manager, Senior Quality Engineer/Chief Engineer, Software Quality Engineer, Graduate Trainee, and Trainee. Mia has also worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Health Club Nummela and GoGo Liikuntakeskus. Additionally, Mia took a break from their career to be a Stay at Home Mom.

Mia Laine obtained a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Management Studies/Administrative Science, Telecommunications, and Mathematics from the University of Tampere from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, and Philosophy at the University of Helsinki from 1994 to 1997. Mia attended Mäkelänrinne senior high school from 1990 to 1994. Mia Laine also pursued Knowledge Management at Tampere University of Technology starting in 2001. In terms of certifications, Mia Laine holds multiple certifications including EA1 First Aid Course, SFS 6002 Electrical Safety, First Hand Extinguishing, Certified Process Excellence Leader, Lead Auditor, Hot Work Licence, Certified Occupational Safety Card Trainer, Occupational Safety Card, and Occupational Safety Manager.
