Sami Mikola

Sami Mikola has a diverse work experience in supply chain management, strategic projects, and consulting. Sami is currently the Director of Supply Chain Planning at Bluefors. Prior to this, Sami worked at Kemira where they held various roles, including Senior Manager of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) for the Global Supply Chain Management team and Senior Manager of S&OP for the P&P EMEA Regional Business Unit. In these roles, they developed and implemented integrated business planning processes, established key performance indicators (KPIs), and led the S&OP process for the business unit. Sami also worked in the CEO office as a Senior Manager of Strategic Projects, where they conducted investment analyses, led manufacturing network consolidation projects, and coordinated SKU rationalization initiatives. Before joining Kemira, Sami worked as an independent consultant, focusing on management dashboards and project management for Metso's CIO. Sami also gained experience at Accenture as a Strategy Consultant, where they worked on projects related to new country expansion, cost reduction, post-merger integration, and IT outsourcing. Additionally, they served as a Business Analyst and Business Controller for the company. Sami's early career included roles as a Junior Consultant at TeliaSonera and a Market Analyst at Finpro.

Sami Mikola earned their M.Sc. degree in Strategic Management from Aalto University, where they studied from 2003 to 2010. In addition, they obtained certifications in GMAT and TOEFL in 2012. Sami also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Laatukeskus Excellence Finland.
