Grant Samuel

Senior Data Analyst at BlueLabs

Grant is a Sr. Data Analyst at BlueLabs. After growing up in New Mexico where he volunteered for the Obama 2008 campaign, he moved to California and majored in philosophy (with an emphasis on ethics and public policy) at the University of California - Santa Barbara. Grant then moved to San Francisco where he has worked on local political campaigns, to flip the House in 2018, for presidential candidate Tom Steyer’s campaign, and then to elect democrats up and down the ballot in the 2020 election and runoff. He’s been working at the intersection of data and national politics for years and is passionate about expanding and empowering the American electorate while driving real, impactful policy solutions using the power of big data and machine learning. In his off-time, he enjoys bikepacking, rock climbing, and playing disc golf — as well as bragging about all the wonderful aspects of New Mexico.
