Rebecca Rodriguez

Rebecca Rodriguez is the current Data Lead at BlueLabs. Rebecca has also worked as a Data Program Manager, Data Team Lead, and GIS Data Analyst for Tanko Lighting Inc. from September 2018 to November 2022, May 2017 to September 2018, and January 2016 to May 2017 respectively. Prior to working at Tanko Lighting Inc., Rebecca was a Research Fellow - Geologist at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory from June 2012 to March 2015 where they worked on projects related to characterizing groundwater and gas flow through fractured aquifers, monitoring groundwater and surface water around natural gas drilling sites, modeling surface water impacts of well pad incidents, examining trends in water management for hydraulic fracturing, applying micro- and nano-scale imaging techniques to shale pore structures, and examining shale's potential as a carbon storage reservoir and cap rock.

Rebecca Rodriguez has a B.S. from Duke University in Earth and Ocean Sciences, as well as a second B.S. in English. Rebecca also has an M.S. in Geosciences from Virginia Tech.
