Lynn has a combination of experience in both biotech and small-scale food production. She has always been passionate about in marine conservation and sustainability, but in recent food science pursuits, was extremely excited to find their groundbreaking intersection here at BlueNalu!
Before moving to San Diego in 2013, Lynn received her BS in Behavioral Biology from Franklin & Marshall College (Lancaster, PA) and is currently working on a Food Science MS through the global Washington State campus. Her previous years in biotech were spent at a histopathology lab and an antibody production lab with the common roles of reagent prep, inventory management, and SOP-writing. In her more recent ventures in the food realm, she most notably worked at a local kombucha nano-brewery start-up where she wore many hats and learned the wild world of SCOBY fermentation.
In her spare time, Lynn enjoys exercising, beach time, and staying hip with the local brewery scene. She is thrilled to be working for a company that shares similar values, has great company culture, and is leading the path to a sustainable food-secure future!
