Jacquelyn Blum has been in the workforce for over 15 years. Jacquelyn began their career in 2006 as a Medical Transcriptionist for Cancer and Blood Specialists of Nevada. In 2015, they moved to ELM Transcription, where they again worked as a Medical Transcriptionist. In 2020, they began working for the Department of Statistics at Columbia University as a Student Representative. Jacquelyn also works for SAFElab at Columbia University as a Research Assistant and BlueOcean as a Data Operations Manager, Data Manager, and Data QA Analyst.

Jacquelyn Blum began their educational journey in 2014 when they earned an Associate's degree in Mathematics from De Anza College. Jacquelyn then moved on to Columbia University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics in 2020 and a Master of Arts in Statistics in 2021.
