Liza Fisher

Liza Fisher is a Veterinary Medical Officer at the FDA, specializing in the Extracolumnar Spinal Devices Team within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health since March 2020. Liza has extensive experience in emergency veterinary care, serving as an Emergency Veterinarian at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital since September 2016 and providing relief services at various clinics, including CARE Veterinary Center and Germantown Veterinary Clinic. Liza began her career as an Associate Veterinarian at Woodbridge Animal Hospital and has completed a small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals. Liza holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Piano Performance from the University of Maryland.
