Jim Downes is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience spanning over four decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Podcast Host for Blueprint CFO Presents: Future Focused Entrepreneurs, Jim also authors insights on the evolution needed in the accounting profession through their work with Mission Matters. As the Founder and CEO of Blueprint CFO, Jim provides fractional CFO and accounting services designed to equip entrepreneurial companies with essential growth strategies. Previous positions include Consulting CFO at Signature Analytics, Principal at Stage 1 Financial, Director at KPMG, Senior Director at BBK, and CEO of imX Solutions, where Jim was instrumental in launching successful projects that attracted major international brands. Jim's early career includes significant roles as Vice President at Urban Science and Chief Financial Officer at Enterprise Oil and Gas. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Detroit Mercy.
