Xavier Fradera

Xavier Fradera has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Xavier currently holds the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Blueprint Medicines since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Merck for over a decade, first as a Senior Scientist from November 2009 to February 2011, and then as an Associate Principal Scientist from March 2011 to October 2021. Before joining Merck, they worked at Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Senior Scientist from November 2008 to October 2009, and at Organon as a Senior Scientist from February 2003 to October 2007.

Xavier Fradera completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 1988 to 1993. Xavier then pursued their PhD at Universitat de Girona from 1993 to 1999, specializing in Computational Chemistry. Following this, they obtained a post-doctoral position in Computational Chemistry at Universitat de Barcelona.
