Sunjay Sethi

Sunjay Sethi, PhD, DABT, serves as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at IDEAYA Biosciences since May 2021, previously holding the position of Principal Research Scientist. Prior experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Charles River Laboratories, where immunological endpoints were assessed to evaluate drug impacts on the immune system. Sunjay's research includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, focusing on the effects of maternal obesity and air pollution on brain development, and a Graduate Student Researcher role at the University of California, Davis, concentrating on the developmental neurotoxicity of polychlorinated biphenyls. Additional experience encompasses environmental risk assessments at Chevron and related research positions at UC Davis, ultimately culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the same institution.
