Zhihu Ding

Zhihu (Jeff) Ding has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Zhihu (Jeff) is currently the Director of Biology Drug Discovery at Blueprint Medicines since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Scientist in Biology Drug Discovery at Blueprint Medicines from 2017 to 2021. Before joining Blueprint Medicines, they worked at Sanofi as a Principal Scientist and Lab Head from 2011 to 2021. Zhihu (Jeff) also held the position of Senior Research Investigator (Senior Scientist) and Lab Head at Sanofi from 2011 to 2018. Zhihu Ding has also worked as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School from 2010 to 2011 and as a Consultant at Metamark Genetics from 2009 to 2011. Prior to these roles, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2004 to 2010, where they made significant contributions to prostate cancer research. Zhihu Ding started their career as an Assistant Researcher and Visiting Scientist at the First Institute of Oceanography, China/University of Osnabrueck, Germany from 1989 to 1996, where they conducted marine annelid species research.

From 1997 to 1999, Zhihu Ding pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biology of Cancer at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Following that, they went on to obtain a Ph.D. in the same field at the same university, from 2000 to 2004.
