Jesse Gary has worked in a variety of roles in the energy industry since 2003. Their career began as a Facilities Engineer at EDG in 2003, followed by a position as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wroclaw in 2004. In 2006, they moved to Mustang Engineering as a Facilities Engineer, and then to Kenwood Energy as an Energy Engineer in 2007. From 2009 to 2014, they held several roles at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), including Renewable Energy Program Manager for the Federal Energy Management Program and Technology Development Manager for the Solar Energy Technologies Office. In 2014, they were a Solar Program Manager (detail) at the U.S. Department of State, and then an Energy Program Manager at the U.S. Air Force (FEDITC) from 2015 to 2017. Since 2017, they have been at Franklin Energy as Senior Director of Utility Programs and Director of Utility Programs, and most recently at Blueprint Power as Head of Energy Systems and Director of Energy Systems since 2021.
Jesse Gary attended Texas A&M University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering. Jesse then attended Union University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Intercultural Studies.
