Joakim Vea

Joakim Vea is an experienced localization engineer and specialist currently employed at Blueprint Technologies since October 2020. Prior to this, Joakim worked as a freelance linguist from June 2018 to October 2020, providing linguistic and language services including writing, translation, and quality control for various clients. Joakim's earlier roles included contracts at Appen, where responsibilities involved developing grammatical rules for a spell checker and managing a team for a pronunciation dictionary project. Joakim's academic background includes a Master's degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics, both from the University of Bergen.
