Kristina Pilz

Kristina Pilz, PhD, is an accomplished professional in localization and academic instruction with extensive experience in both fields. Currently serving as Localization Team Lead at Blueprint since January 2020, Kristina leads a diverse team of Localization & Translation Specialists, focusing on operational excellence, employee satisfaction, and client response efficiency. Previous roles include Localization Specialist at Blueprint, where content was localized and quality assured, and Visiting Lecturer & Teaching Associate at the University of Washington, where Kristina designed courses in German language and culture. Additional experience includes instructional design and teaching at Texas Tech University and as a Project Manager and Instructor in various organizations in Germany. Kristina holds a PhD in Germanic Language, Literature, and Philosophy from the University of Washington, along with master's degrees in German as a Foreign Language and German Studies.
