Serenity Reyes-Mendoza has a diverse range of work experience. Serenity started their career at Stanford University as an Honors Program Coordinator, where they provided assistance to students, coordinated program activities, and carried out administrative work. Serenity then moved on to UC San Diego, where they held various roles, including Graduate Writing Consultant, Undergraduate Student Services, and Research Assistant. In these positions, they provided editing and feedback to graduate writers, mentored undergraduates, collaborated campus-wide for recruitment events, and managed project and procedural documentation. Serenity also worked as a Teaching Assistant, creating and teaching seminars, grading assignments, and addressing student inquiries. Their most recent role is with Kabam as the Localization QA & Editing Team Lead. In this position, they create and resolves localization tasks, collaborates with external stakeholders and translators, and performs localization QA for multiple game titles.

Serenity Reyes-Mendoza completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Science, Technology and Society at Stanford University from 2010 to 2014. Serenity then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication and Science Studies at UC San Diego from 2016 to 2018. In 2021, they participated in a program called Introduction to Game Making at Code Coven. Additionally, Serenity obtained the certification of ICAgile Certified Professional from ICAgile in October 2022.
