Gopinath Sundaramurthy

Gopinath Sundaramurthy, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in the venture capital and data science fields, currently serving as Managing Partner and Head of Data Science at Ensemble VC since January 2021. In addition to this role, Gopinath is an investor in multiple companies, including Loti, Clazar, Saronic Technologies, Blueprint, Swimply, and ICON. Prior experience includes leading data science efforts at Kauffman Fellows and serving as Advisory Data Scientist at IBM Watson Health, where Gopinath managed real-world evidence projects for pharmaceutical clients. Gopinath holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Systems Biology and Physiology from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from R.V. College of Engineering.
