Yishai Klein, 45, is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of BlueRed Partners. Yishai was born and educated in Melbourne, Australia. He is based in Singapore where he has resided for the past 18 years.

Prior to forming the Fund, Yishai was an Advisor at OUE Ltd., and the Head of Innovation and Strategic Investments at the group, reporting directly to the Chairman. He focused on identifying investments in innovative technologies addressing “Smart

Building & Retail Technology” solutions with the primary objectives of reducing opex, generating new revenue streams, and creating market differentiation within the OUE group: commercial property, hospitality, retail and residential. Formerly Yishai was the Managing Partner of Tamarix Fund Company, and Regional Director, and Head of Asia at Giza Venture Capital, a venture capital fund, managing

US$600M.

Yishai joined Giza Venture Capital in Israel in 1997 and was active in four funds: Giza II, Giza III, Giza IV, Giza V (Taiwan), specifically in the sectors of Communications, IoT, Software and Cleantech investments. In 2001 Yishai relocated to Singapore to open Giza's office as Director of the Fund's Asia Pacific Operations and was responsible for establishing Giza’s operations in the Asia region. He led the Fund's investment strategy and activities in Asia Pacific, overseeing portfolio business development, and raising additional financing from co-investors and strategic investors in the region. He has led or co-led investments in Storwize (Acquired by

IBM), Danen (IPO; TWSE), AOI (IPO; NASDAQ), Aleees (IPO; TWSE).

Previously Mr. Klein worked in Investment Banking at Giza Capital (affiliate of Alex. Brown & Sons) and focused on research, analysis, company valuations and private placement activities. Prior to joining GC, Mr. Klein worked in a subsidiary of Pioneer

Investments, an asset management firm. Mr. Klein holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
