BlueRock Behavioral Health

BlueRock is a Level 2 residential placement option for youth ages 12-17 located on a picturesque 30 acre campus in Bat Cave, NC. BlueRock is a niche program designed to offer support for youth who have completed programming at a higher level of care who require additional skill building prior to returning to the home or community based settings OR as a diversion placement option for youth who don’t quite meet the criteria for a higher level of care. We offer a relationship-based model rooted in the belief that trusting relationships drive change. BlueRock students engage in daily clinical and academic programming which is supported by experiential therapy activities. The program is located on a former summer camp with access to fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. As a CARF accredited placement option, BlueRock offers 32 beds with an average length of stay of 90-180 days. We believe that relationships drive change, and experiences drive those relationships. Utilizing key pillars of the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), we help students identify what’s getting in the way of healthy relationships and connection to break the cycle of treatment.
