Scott Gunderson, CFP®, has over 26 years of work experience in the financial industry. Scott is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Bluerock since August 2019. Prior to that, they held the same position at Cantor Fitzgerald from January 2016 to August 2018 and at American Realty Capital from February 2012 to December 2015.
Before joining these companies, Scott worked as the Regional Vice President at John Hancock from June 2007 to January 2011 and at AIG from May 2001 to May 2007. Scott began their career as a Certified Financial Planner at Investment Centers of America in 1993, where they worked until 2001.
Scott Gunderson, CFP®, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the University of North Dakota in 1993. In addition to their degree, they have earned several certifications throughout their career. In 1997, they became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) through the College for Financial Planning. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) certification from the Institute Business and Finance. In 2016, they completed The Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate Program offered by the CAIA Association.
