Alejandro Gomez-Aristizábal

Alejandro Gomez-Aristizábal is a Principal Scientist at BlueRock Therapeutics since July 2018, specializing in Immunology with a strong focus on collaborative research and program advancement. Previously, Alejandro held various scientific roles at BlueRock, including Senior Scientist and Scientist positions, where responsibilities included experimental design, data analysis, and maintaining relationships with key scientific founders. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University Health Network, where Alejandro contributed to GMP cell manufacturing and clinical trials, and a Research Associate role at Tissue Regeneration Therapeutics focused on immune effects of stem cells. Alejandro earned a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia.
