Alex Oman

Alex Oman has a diverse work experience starting from 2017. They worked as a Higher Degree Researcher at the University of Melbourne from February 2017 to November 2018. From April 2019 to April 2021, Alex worked as a Research Assistant at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, where they were involved in laboratory management and data analysis for a National Dementia Research Grant. Alex then transitioned to consulting roles, starting as an Associate Consultant at Capgemini Invent from April 2021 to April 2022, then as a Consultant from April 2022 to June 2022, and finally as a Lead Consultant from July 2022 to April 2023. Currently, Alex is working as a Data Lead at BlueScope since April 2023. They also had a concurrent role as a Lead Consultant at frog from October 2021 to April 2023.

Alex Oman completed a Master of Biomedical Science degree at the University of Melbourne from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from the same university, which was completed from 2013 to 2016. Alex also pursued an International Baccalaureate at Haileybury from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Alex obtained several certifications in various data science and business-related fields, including Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, Applied Data Science Capstone, Python for Data Science and AI, Data Analysis Using Python, Data Science for Business - Level 1, Data Visualization Using Python, and Python for Data Science.
