Dan Thananchayan

Dan Thananchayan is an experienced project manager and mechanical engineer with a robust background in capital projects and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Project Manager for Capital Projects at BlueScope since June 2023, Dan leads cross-functional teams while managing project scope throughout its lifecycle. Previous positions include Project Engineer at Orora Packaging Solutions and SPN Consulting, where Dan specialized in process design, equipment selection, and project management. Dan has also worked in maintenance and service engineering roles across various industries, demonstrating a strong ability to enhance operational efficiency and implement safety management practices. Dan holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technologies and Management from Brunel University London and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
