David Barton

David Barton has extensive experience in risk management and internal audit, currently serving as Group Manager for Risk & Resilience and Financial Governance & Risk at BlueScope since November 2013. Previously, David held the role of Manager for Sustainable Development Assurance at Rio Tinto from September 2011 to November 2013 and worked at PwC as a Senior Manager from September 2004 to August 2011. Early career positions include Senior Internal Auditor at STW (2001-2004) and Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (1998-2001). David holds a degree in Commerce, IT, Economics, and Accounting from the University of Birmingham, completed between 1994 and 1997.
