Helena V. has over 12 years of experience in data analysis and science. Helena started their career at Incline Marketing Solutions as a Senior Analyst in 2009 and worked there until 2015. Helena then joined Forethought Research as an Analyst in Growth Analytics, where they stayed until 2017. Helena V. then moved to Coles as a Flybuys Analyst - Partners, working there until 2019. From 2019 to 2023, they worked at flybuys (Loyalty Pacific) as a Senior Analyst and later as a Data Scientist. Currently, they are the Data Science Program Lead at BlueScope.

Helena V. completed their education with a Master of Information Systems degree, specializing in Business analytics, from Deakin University in 2015. Prior to that, in 2008, they obtained a BCom (Honours) degree in Statistics from the University of Cape Town. Helena had previously completed their undergraduate studies at the same university, receiving a BCom degree in Economics & Finance from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2015.
