Brandon Blobner, PhD

Brandon Blobner, PhD has had a varied career in the field of bioinformatics. Brandon began their career in 2010 as a Laboratory Manager at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2018, they returned to the University of Pittsburgh as a Postdoctoral Scholar. In 2021, they joined BlueSphere Bio as a Bioinformatics Scientist, and they were later promoted to Senior Bioinformatics Scientist.

Brandon Blobner earned their Bachelor of Science in Agriculture - BSA from The Ohio State University in 2009, majoring in Animal Sciences. Brandon then went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, which they completed in 2018.
