Mark Bursey

Mark Bursey has extensive work experience in the credit and risk management field. Mark began their career at Fingerhut in 1997, where they worked as a Credit Risk Manager in various risk areas until 2002. Mark then moved on to Metris Companies and served as a Credit Risk Manager in various risk areas from 2002 to 2005. Mark joined HSBC Card Services in 2005 and held the position of Sr. Manager in various risk and marketing areas until 2009. Since 2009, they have been with Bluestem Brands, where they have held multiple roles, including Director of Collections Strategy, Director of Credit Risk, Sr. Director of Credit Operations, and currently serves as the Vice President of Collections and Credit Operations.

Mark Bursey attended the University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Statistics.
