Bill Benford

Executive Vice President at Bluestone Bank

Bill Benford has extensive work experience in the banking and lending industry. Bill started working at UPS Capital in 2008 as a National Sales Manager, where they managed a national sales force and achieved top 10 status as an SBA-lender. Bill then became the Managing Director of the Special Assets Group, overseeing a troubled commercial loan portfolio and implementing strategies to maximize recovery and minimize risk. In 2012, Benford joined Bluestone Bank - Mansfield Division as a Vice President in Commercial Lending, and later became the First Senior Vice President - Senior Lender. In this role, they managed a team of commercial lenders and was responsible for originating and servicing commercial real estate and C&I loans in the MA and RI market. Bill also oversaw the entire commercial lending department. In 2020, Benford joined Bluestone Bank as an Executive Vice President, where they currently hold a position.

Bill Benford graduated from Clark University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics.
