Alex Vilchez

Alex Vilchez has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at Ribesalat as an Admin Sistemas-Networking. In 2015, they joined Salomó & Bonet-Godó, where they served as a CES for one year before becoming the CIO until 2019. During this time, they gained experience in IT management and leadership. From 2019 to 2021, Vilchez worked at CRICURSA as a Lead Project Manager and at SIRT as a Senior Engineering Project Manager. In 2021, they joined BlueSun as the CTO-CISO, showcasing their expertise in infrastructure and control systems. Alex'swork experience demonstrates a strong background in IT management, project management, and executive leadership.

Alex Vilchez has a diverse education history. In 2005, they started their undergraduate studies in Ingeniería Informática (Computer Engineering) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which they completed in 2010. In 2012, they pursued additional certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate from Espai and Linux Fundamentals from Alsys. In the same year, they also obtained a degree in Tecnología de la Información (Information Technology) from Alsys.

In 2011, Alex pursued their passion for coaching football and obtained a degree in Uefa B (Football Coach) from Federació Catalana de Futbol. The following year, they enrolled in a course at Alsys Datacenter in Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure. In 2013, they obtained a Uefa A (Football Coach) degree from Federación Española de Futbol.

In 2014, Alex furthered their knowledge in IT management by completing a course called AGILE IT MANAGEMENT: SCRUM, DEVOPS, LEAN IT from UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). Additionally, they also completed a course in Entornos y aplicaciones A3 (A3 Environments and Applications) from Wolters Kluwer.

Alex completed a Master of Computer Applications - MCA degree from UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) in 2018, specializing in Ingeniería Informática (Computer Engineering). In the same year, they also attended a short-term cybersecurity management course called Gestión de Ciberseguridad (Cybersecurity Management) at Back Track Academy.

Furthermore, in 2015, Alex pursued a Master's degree in Digital Marketing & SEO/SEM from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
