Sean Dobson

Sean Dobson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Wafra since May 2019, Sean focuses on AI transformation, process automation, and cybersecurity for both the company and its portfolio. Sean previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer at the Digital Asset Custody Company, where a robust cybersecurity program was developed for blockchain technologies. With a background as CISO at Blue Ridge Capital and infrastructure manager at Trafelet & Company, Sean has demonstrated hands-on expertise in building security programs and leading teams. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Michigan State University and a Master's in Management of Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology, complementing a strong technical foundation with strategic leadership skills. Currently, Sean also serves as an advisor at Glilot Capital Partners.
