Gary Penberthy

Gary Penberthy is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in threat intelligence and operations. Currently serving as the Third Party Risk Operations Team Lead and a Threat Intelligence Analyst at BlueVoyant since 2018, Gary previously dedicated 20 years to the United States Air Force, where roles included Network Hunt Operator, Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and Hunt Operator, and Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst/Operational Advisor. Gary successfully led a large cyber threat intelligence team, focusing on identifying and reporting real-time cyber threats to U.S. critical interests. Additionally, Gary managed remote analysis locations and developed training programs for intelligence personnel. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Russian Language from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and an Associate's degree in Intelligence Studies from the Community College of the Air Force.
