John Reel

John Reel is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Supply Chain Defense at BlueVoyant since December 2018, John has played multiple roles and contributed to the design and development of Third Party / Vendor Risk products, led cybersecurity assessments, and responded to incidents. Prior to BlueVoyant, John provided strategy consulting services as a self-employed consultant and held significant positions at Rackspace as Director of Security Architecture, and at SRA International as Solution Architect. John's career in technology began at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as Technical Director and as CTO at Trident Data Systems. John holds a PhD in Computer Science from Century University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Tyler.
