Bev Hand

Bev Hand began her municipal career in the Village of Point Edward by participating in various community activities such as Waterfront Park Development and serving on volunteer boards such as the Library and Property Standards.

She started on the council in 2006. In 2016, she became Mayor and also joined the county council. In 2020, she was elected to the Deputy Warden position in Lambton County. She currently serves as Chair of the Lambton Area Water Supply System and is Chair of Sarnia Lambton Tourism.

Bev graduated from the University of Western and is an HR professional having achieved the Certified Human Resource designation (CHRP) during her career. She worked in the petrochemical industry for DuPont/Nova Chemicals and retired in 2017 after 42 years of service.
