Shahid Malik

Shahid Malik is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in pathology. Currently serving as the Medical Director of the Laboratory and Consultant Pathologist at Bluewater Health since August 2015, Shahid previously held the positions of Chief and Director of Pathology and Consultant Pathologist at Cape Breton District Health Authority from December 2003 to August 2015. Earlier roles include Consultant Pathologist at Erfan and Bagedo Hospital in Jeddah, Neuropathology Fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Pathology Resident at Columbia University Medical Center, and Pathology Fellow at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. Shahid Malik earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, from 1981 to 1987.
