Lily Blain

Analyst, Storage Development at BlueWave Solar

Lily Blain is an Analyst on the Storage Development team at BlueWave Solar. Prior to joining BlueWave, Lily worked as an Environmental and Food Policies Intern at the FAO, where they supported the analysis and draft of case studies on environmental issues in selected countries. Lily also interned at the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme, where they developed and promoted the ZDHC Academy, dedicated to environmentally responsible management of hazardous chemicals in the textile industry. Lily has also held positions as Community Portfolio Holder at the UvA Green Office and Event Coordinator at CISA (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture).

Lily Blain began their educational career at Lund University, where they studied environmental industrial economics. Lily then went on to earn their master's degree in joint masters' of environmental science, policy, and management from Central European University. Finally, they completed their bachelor of arts in PPLE: politics, psychology, law and economics from the University of Amsterdam.
