Courtney Bates

Courtney Bates, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Accounting, HR, and IT at Bluewing Midstream since January 2018, where additional responsibilities include the role of Controller. Prior to this, Courtney held the position of Assistant Controller at Bluewing Midstream, LLC from November 2016. Previous roles include Audit Senior and Audit Staff at Whitley Penn from November 2013 to September 2016 and an Audit Staff position at Hein & Associates from September 2012 to October 2013. Courtney began the career as an Accounts Receivable Administrator at Texas Digital Systems, further gaining analytical experience through a data analysis role at Texas A&M University. Courtney also completed an internship at Hein & Associates. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University, earned in 2012.
