Lead of Product Development & Architect at BlueX Trade

Jay Liang began their career in 2014 as a Co-founder, Android Developer & Backend Manager for Somer, an anonymous social platform for people to express themselves with their real friends. During this time, the platform gained 100,000 total registered users and a 4.08 rating on Google Play. In 2015, they took an Internship at Vpon, where they surveyed Kubernetes to help the company migrate applications onto it and deployed by Ansible. Jay also investigated MySQL Fabric for sharding and AWS CloudFormation for system deployment. In 2016, they took on a Software Director / Senior Engineer role at ALCHEMA and was in charge of software development roadmap planning to support business strategies. Jay also established KPI and did agile coaching, leading the mobile app dev team to fulfill strategic goals. Jay also built the whole RESTful API backend with their own rapid development library called j2s. In the same year, they also took on a Contract Architect role at Tagtoo. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer at HANG-JIAN TECH CO., LTD (艙鑑科技股份有限公司). During this time, they led and managed the R&D department to ensure successful delivery of all projects and build long term competitiveness to align business strategy. Jay also did scrum coaching, prioritized tasks, allocated resources and organized R&D members. Jay also designed architecture of a system called Topology that enabled UAV with 4G/5G connection, which facilitated remote control and mission planning without distance limitation, based on Node. In 2021, they became the Lead of Product Development & Architect at BlueX Trade. During this time, they built the front-end from zero to production for FreightUp & BlueX Pay, the ocean freight marketplace & international supply chain online payment solution, through close cooperation with CTO and coordination with team members. Jay also refactored and migrated from Vue 2 to Vue 3 for GreenX, the white-label ocean freight e-commerce solution for Evergreen Marine Corp.

Jay Liang completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from National Taiwan University in 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same university, which they completed in 2018.
