Jeff Coomans

Jeff Coomans has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Jeff began their career in 1994 as an Account Consultant for TIE Communications, Inc., where they were responsible for the sale of advanced telecommunications solutions to the mid-sized business market. In 1997, they moved to Williams Communications Solutions as a Network Consultant, where they were responsible for planning, design, and formal presentation of voice and data solutions in the enterprise business market. In 2007, Jeff joined Nortel as a Service Provider Account Manager, where they were responsible for the revenue development of Nortel's strategic business partners in an assigned territory. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at Hawaiian Telcom as Sr. Manager of New Product Development, New Business Development, and Business Voice. In 2015, Jeff became the Director of Solutions Architecture at BluIP, where they oversaw the development and deployment of Natural Language Processing / Artificial Intelligent Virtual Agents to the hospitality and enterprise marketplaces. In the subsequent 4 years, those agents have matured and scaled to handle hundreds of thousands of voice and digital transactions annually. Over half of these transactions are fully automated, requiring no human intervention. From 2000 to 2009, Jeff was also employed at NextiraOne, LLC, where they held the roles of Product & Services Manager of Advanced Applications, Marketing Manager of General Business Solutions, and Emerging Technology Consultant.

Jeff Coomans attended Arizona State University from 1989 to 1994, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
