Lydia Renton

Lydia Renton is an experienced professional in occupational hygiene and safety, currently serving as Director of Occupational Hygiene, Safety & Security at BluMetric Environmental Inc. since May 1999. Under Lydia's leadership, the team has developed a globally recognized consulting business in the field. Lydia's previous roles include Past Chair of the Board of Directors at the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and Manager of EHSS at Nortel Networks, where risk assessment processes were developed. Earlier experience includes consulting for the Ontario Ministry of Labour, providing services to over 300 industrial and construction sites. Lydia holds a B.Sc in Chemistry from the University of Ottawa, completed in 1977.
