Stevie Straka

Stevie Straka has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of engineering, program management, and administrative support. They began their career in 2004 as a Guest Service Attendant at Days Inn and later held a Sales Assistant Manager internship role at the same company. In 2007, they worked as a Guest Service Attendant and Merchandise Marketing intern at Islander Inn & Grand Islander Hotel.

From 2008 to 2009, Stevie worked as an Assistant Front Desk Manager at Islander Inn and also served as an Assistant Group Events Manager at Niagara Conference Center during the same period. In 2010, they worked as an Administrative Assistant in Sales & Marketing at Marriott International.

In 2013, Stevie joined Quicken Loans as a Client Care Specialist, responsible for assisting clients during the loan process. They then moved to Duo Security and held various roles from 2013 to 2018, including Sales Administrative Assistant, Sales Operations Specialist, Program Manager, and Engineering Project Manager. In these roles, they focused on coordinating initiatives and programs, managing sales systems, and providing administrative support.

In 2018, Stevie joined Cisco as a Senior Engineering Project Manager at Duo Security, where they worked with high-functioning teams as a key operational leader to plan, lead, and motivate the engineering teams. They recently transitioned to a new role as an Engineering Program Manager at Blumira starting in December 2021.

Throughout their career, Stevie has demonstrated strong leadership skills, promoting team empowerment, engagement, and encouraging a sustainable pace with high levels of quality. They have also been involved in planning and executing team-wide events to foster collaboration and celebrate success.

Stevie Straka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Grand Valley State University.
