David Scharny

David Scharny is the Chief Technology Officer at Blyncsy. David has over ten years of experience in the software engineering field. David has a proven track record of leading teams and developing software for a variety of systems, including data link subsystems, antenna controllers, and power-on built-in-test software. David also has experience with system integration and architecture design. In their previous position as a Technical Lead for the Gray Eagle UAS Data Link Subsystem, David was responsible for developing boot-synchronization software and designing fault management software that was compliant with STANAG 4586, an international standard for UAV interoperability. David also fixed complex hardware and software defects, and mastered techniques to isolate memory and hardware faults in VxWorks without using a debugger. David has also worked closely with field-support engineers to improve troubleshooting procedures.

David Scharny has a PhD in Computing from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

David Scharny works with Dallin Star - Director of Finance, Operations & Implementations, Jacob Halu - Sales & Customer Experience Manager, and Julie Speck - Executive Assistant. Jen Cantwell - Senior Engineer, Greg Probst - Software Engineer, and George Vejar - Data Engineer report to David Scharny.
