Peter Bamford

Peter joined the Board of B&M as Non-Executive Chairman on 1 March 2018. He has extensive experience, in both executive and non-executive roles, of the retail sector and high growth international businesses and brands. He is also a seasoned PLC director and chairman having served on PLC boards for over 21 years and chaired a variety of boards over the last 10 years. In his executive career he was a Director of Vodafone Group Plc from 1998 to 2006 where he held senior executive roles, including Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Executive of Vodafone NEMEA region and Chief Executive of Vodafone UK. Prior to that he held a number of board and senior executive positions with leading retailers including WH Smith, Tesco and Kingfisher. Peter is currently Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Spire Healthcare Group plc.
