Mads-Emil Holmer Gellert Larsen has a diverse work experience. Mads-Emil Holmer started their career in 2005 as an Assistant Supervisor at Kristeligt Dagblad. In 2012, they joined IT Lean as a Customer Relationship Manager, where they stayed until 2013. In the same year, Mads-Emil co-founded bmetric, initially serving as the CCO and later becoming the CEO. Mads-Emil Holmer played a significant role in shaping the organizational structure of NEST Copenhagen, Denmark's first co-living space for entrepreneurs, as part of the steering committee from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they served as a mentor at Stardust-DTU from 2016 to 2018.

Mads-Emil Holmer Gellert Larsen began their education at Privatskolen Nakskov, where they attended elementary school from 1991 to 2001. Mads-Emil Holmer then went on to Nakskov Gymnasium, where they completed their Gymnasium studies in a mathematics field from 2001 to 2004.

Additionally, in 2009, they briefly attended Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium to further their studies in Fine Arts Performance for one year.
