Cameron Schweitzer

Cameron Schweitzer, Ph.D., currently serves as the Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager at BMG LABTECH since April 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Technical Sales Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on protein biology across multiple states from May 2015 to April 2018, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from August 2012 to May 2015, where important contributions included identifying a novel host protein related to HCV infection and collaborating on anti-HCV compound research. Cameron's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from Creighton University, completed in 2012, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine from Dana College in 2006. Early research at Creighton University involved novel methods related to HIV-1 protein complexes and contributed to both university and national presentations.
