Freya Leif

Freya Leif is a skilled Field Application Scientist at BMG LABTECH since August 2022, with a strong background in biomedical research. Currently a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds since October 2018, Freya Leif's research focuses on glucocorticoid receptor modulators as potential therapies for triple negative breast cancer. This role involves various advanced techniques and includes responsibilities such as training students and managing laboratory resources. Freya Leif has also contributed as a DiMeN Diversity Marketing and Communications Officer, enhancing diversity in STEM fields, and served as a mentor for students through the Social Mobility Foundation. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology with Enterprise.
