Steve Redmond

Steve Redmond has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music and entertainment industry. Steve is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Global Corporate Communication at BMG - The New Music Company since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at BMG again, holding the position of Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Communications from 2016 to 2020. In 2007, they joined the Entertainment Retailers Association, where they were involved in strategy and communications. Before that, they founded the British Music Week Germany in 2006 and served as its founder until 2008. Steve also worked at BPI as the Director of Communications & Development from 2003 to 2007. Earlier in their career, they were a Group Director at Miller Freeman Music Group from 1998 to 2001. Steve started their career as the Founder of www.dotmusic.com in 1995 and later worked as an Editor at Music Week from 1990 to 1997.

Steve Redmond attended the University of Bradford from 1980 to 1984, where they studied Philosophy and English.
