Lars Haringsma

Lars Haringsma is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in VAT and indirect tax management. Currently serving as the Global VAT Manager at Nexperia since February 2024, Lars previously held the position of Senior Tax Manager at Meijburg & Co from February 2018 to January 2024, focusing on indirect tax and tax technology. Lars contributed to the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB) as a board member of the sector Tax Technology from September 2016 to February 2018. Earlier in the career at EY, Lars specialized in VAT data analytics and global compliance, progressing through various roles from consultant to manager from September 2006 to January 2018. Lars also has a background in coaching the Dutch speed skating teams for Team Haven Amsterdam and Team Appel Beton. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
